If you’re looking for a great way to give back while networking this month, the Tapolci Foundation has an opportunity that you can’t miss! Last month we introduced our readers to #FundTheTruck and this week we’re inviting you to join us at Mad Mex in Robinson Township on April 6th from 4:30 PM-6:30 PM for a networking event to raise money to help make the truck a reality. We will be having a 50/50 raffle, Chinese Auctions, and even better conversation to help the Greater Washington County Food Bank raise funds to buy a new box truck.
The Greater Washington County Food Bank not only provides food for over 25,000 people who are food insecure, they also have other great projects in the works. Highlights include gardening workshops, a thrift market, and a community-driven farm. Take a minute to visit their website and read more about the food bank, its volunteers, and ongoing projects.
In addition to helping #FundTheTruck, a group of employees from ABG Capital will be volunteering at the Food Bank on April 28th. The volunteers will be helping the Food Bank staff pack food boxes that will be delivered to area individuals. Last year, ABG volunteers packed over 500 boxes and had a great time working as a team.
